Taare Zameen Par!!!

No this isnt a film review. Dont generally write one as have friends who can give much better reviews and describe the film in much better way than I can.

Also i dont generally copy ideas from peoples blogs, neither do i copy the theme/content of the posts. But as they say in Indian Film Industry, have been inspired from Pratiksha's O3 blogs and hence am writing this post.

And its not the viewing of the film that made me write this post. Its rather its tagline. "Every child is special" does make you wonder whether its really true [mainly bec of introspection :)].

But the tagline of this post of mine would rather be "Every friend is special". I was often asked as to whos my best friend and i kept wondering as each friend had their level of closeness and mutual sharing. How can one compare a friend with other. If thats done the entire meaning of friendship is lost. A friend is to be accepted the way (s)he is and cherished for the way the friendship is.

But yeah, not sirf dard mein, but aise bhi beetein lamhe bahut yaad aatein hai.

Those innumerous train travels and eating of bhajiyas and samosas, those bunking of classes to play cricket, those burgers & cocktails at canteen in school, those bike rides & writing of poetry, those long talks on phone & fighting on petty things, those childish arguments, watching movies together & sipping coffee @ CCD/Barista/TCs/Mint, those filmy dialogues, those night-outs at my home, those sessions where we played cards/sequence/cricket, those cricket matches & ducks at grounds on sundays, those trips to and from surat in buses, those drinking sessions in daman/'k'ampus, and many many more......

Sorry if i forgot something very significant... Just that am posting this at 2 in the night might justify the (unintentional) omission.

Hope you had as much fun reading this post as much as I did remembering all those times.

In the end, theres a feeling of nostalgia. And my heart says "Jaane kaha gaye woh din, ab nahi lagta dil yaaron ke bin"
